How to analyze your website leads

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to breakdown your website leads into online quotes and phone calls, view which day of the week you received the most leads, understand which marketing channels generate the most leads on your website, and so much more.

Website Leads

The Website Leads dashboard is connected to your instant price form and call tracking script. This allows you to analyze your website leads at a deeper level and view trends over time.

To access the Website Leads dashboard, hover over the GorillaDesk label in the sidebar and click the Dashboard link. Then click the Website Leads title.

Comparison Report

The Comparison Report allows you to compare the number of leads you received this month (28 days) against the number leads you received during a 28-day period one month, one quarter, and one year ago. This metric is important to track and improve because increasing the number of leads (quotes and calls) you generate from your website month-over-month is a leading indicator of the number of customers you will close each month.

Note: If your business is seasonal, meaning there are fluctuations in demand throughout the year, the most important metric to track in the Comparison Report is the number of leads you received this month versus the number of leads you received during the same month one year ago. This will help you determine whether or not the number of leads you generate from your website is growing year-over-year.

Line Chart

The Line Chart allows you to visualize your website leads for the specific date range selected: week, month, or quarter. This view is perfect for spotting fluctuations between specific days.

Breakout Table

The Breakout Table segments your website leads into Online Quotes, Phone Calls, and Total Leads so you can understand what type of leads your website is generating on a daily basis.

Day of Leads

The Day of Leads bar chart allows you to breakdown your website leads by the day of the week, so you know which specific day your website leads is the highest and lowest.

Channel Grouping

Not all marketing channels are created the same. Some channels drive a lot of traffic to your website but don’t produce many leads, and vice versa. The Channel Grouping table and pie chart let you know which marketing channels generate the most leads on your website. Knowing these numbers helps you make informed decisions about your marketing spend (double down on the channels that work and stop spending time/money on those that don’t).
